  1. For all gamblers out there- we created this slot machine cake in the favorite colors of the birthday girl- purple! The client was from Long Island NY but we delivered the cake to Tauton, MA. We had such a blast making cherry and bar ornaments for the front of the cake along with a 3-D handle.
  2. 70th Birthday Slot Machine Cake! Lots of glitter with bold gold and pink colors covers the slot machine. 4 decks of 52 cards Aces are worth 1 or 11 points Picture cards (Jack, Queen and King) count as 10 points All other cards (2-10) count as the number shown which means the 2 is worth 2 points, the 5 is worth 5, the 9 is worth 9 points etc.

Diy

This slot machine cake was for my dads birthday. Now that he lives in Florida one of his favorite things to do while visiting me in NJ is go to Atlantic City and play the slots so I knew he would just love this cake!

The base tier is a cake dummy that was covered in gray fondant. The “payout plaque” was made from white fondant with a brown sugar border, and symbols were all hand painted. The pull lever is made from a wooden dowel that was covered in fondant. The top tier is a chocolate cake with cream cheese buttercream, covered in gray fondant. All of the details were molded out of fondant, except the quarters. I created a silicone mold out of quarters from different states (I picked states that are important to my dad) and then used the mold to make chocolate coins which I dusted with luster dust to give them shine.
